Safeguarding of Adults & Children – Awareness to Level 2

Everyone working with vulnerable people has a legal duty to safeguard their wellbeing. This course provides staff with the essential knowledge and skills to identify, respond to, and report concerns of abuse and neglect involving both adults and children.

Designed for professionals across health, social care, education, voluntary, and public sectors, the course explains what safeguarding is, how to recognise signs of harm, and what actions must be taken in line with the latest legislation and guidance.

The training also explores the Mental Capacity Act and how it underpins safeguarding practice for adults who may not be able to make decisions for themselves. Whether you’re in a frontline care role or supporting individuals indirectly, this course helps you understand your responsibilities and how to work confidently in a safeguarding framework.

The course can be delivered at Awareness or Level 2 depending on your team’s needs and roles.
