Asthma Awareness & Management

Course Overview

Asthma Awareness & Management training gives learners the knowledge and confidence to recognise asthma symptoms, understand triggers, and respond appropriately during an asthma attack. Asthma is a common long-term respiratory condition, but when it is poorly managed or misunderstood, it can quickly become life-threatening.

This course focuses on practical awareness, early recognition, and safe response. Learners will explore how asthma affects breathing, how medication works, and what to do if someone’s symptoms escalate. It is suitable for a wide range of settings where people with asthma may be present, including health and social care, education, childcare, workplaces, and community environments.
