Basic Life Support & AED
A cardiac arrest can strike without warning, and every second counts. The chances of survival decrease by around 10% for every minute that passes without CPR or defibrillation. Having an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on site, and knowing how to use it, can save lives.
This Basic Life Support (BLS) and AED training course is designed to give learners the confidence and practical skills to respond effectively in a cardiac emergency. You will learn how to manage an unconscious casualty, perform high-quality CPR, and operate an AED safely and correctly.
Whether you already have a defibrillator in your setting or are preparing to introduce one, this course ensures your staff or team are ready to act when it matters most.
This half-day course is suitable for staff in a wide range of environments, including offices, schools, leisure centres, and community settings. No prior experience is required.
