First Aid at Work (Blended)
First aid provision is a legal requirement in most workplaces, and in higher-risk environments, the First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification is the recognised standard. Employers must ensure staff have the right level of training to respond effectively to workplace emergencies.
This First Aid at Work blended course delivers comprehensive training in workplace first aid. It develops the knowledge, confidence, and practical ability needed to manage a wide range of injuries, illnesses, and medical emergencies. As a result, learners feel prepared to act quickly and safely when incidents occur.
The qualification uses a blended learning approach that combines flexible online study with practical, face-to-face training. Learners complete core theory through our secure online training portal, allowing them to study at their own pace. They then attend classroom sessions led by a qualified first aid instructor, where they focus on hands-on skills and real-world scenarios.
This structure allows learners to build a strong understanding of first aid principles online. In addition, the in-person training develops confidence in applying life-saving techniques under supervision. Therefore, learners gain both knowledge and practical competence.
The course meets all requirements set out by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and follows the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. It also aligns with the Approved Code of Practice L74, ensuring the training remains recognised, compliant, and suitable for workplace first aiders.
