Paediatric & Early Years OFSTED Approved (Blended)
Blended Paediatric First Aid training provides essential life-saving skills for anyone responsible for the care of infants and young children, while offering greater flexibility for busy learners. This two-day Paediatric First Aid blended course combines online learning with face-to-face practical training, ensuring learners gain both strong theoretical knowledge and hands-on confidence.
The course focuses on the most common paediatric emergencies found in early years settings. These include choking, unconsciousness, breathing difficulties, bleeding, burns, head injuries, and allergic reactions. As a result, learners feel prepared to respond quickly and safely when emergencies occur.
This blended Paediatric First Aid course is ideal for staff working in day nurseries, private nursery schools, pre-schools, and before and after-school clubs. It is also suitable for childminders, parents, and carers providing care in home settings. Learners complete the theory element online through our secure learning portal, allowing them to study at their own pace and fit learning around work and family commitments.
Following the online study, learners attend face-to-face practical training led by an experienced instructor. These sessions focus on hands-on paediatric first aid skills, realistic scenarios, and safe emergency responses. Therefore, learners develop the confidence and competence needed to act effectively in real situations.
This blended Paediatric First Aid qualification is Ofsted approved and meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Early Years and Childcare Register. It is also ETFS approved, supporting early years providers in meeting their legal and regulatory responsibilities.
Overall, this blended Paediatric First Aid training offers a flexible, compliant, and effective route to high-quality paediatric first aid education, helping create safer environments for babies and young children.
