First Aid at Work Re-Qualifcation (2-Day)

To remain compliant with workplace health and safety regulations, qualified first aiders must renew their First Aid at Work (FAW) certificate every three years. This two-day First Aid at Work Requalification course allows learners to refresh their knowledge, update practical skills, and continue in their role as designated workplace first aiders.

The course revisits the core topics from the full First Aid at Work qualification. However, it places greater emphasis on applying skills confidently and competently in real workplace situations. In addition, learners receive updates on current first aid protocols, best practice, and any relevant changes to legislation.

This FAW requalification training helps learners maintain confidence and competence while meeting legal requirements. Therefore, employers can continue to provide appropriate first aid cover and reduce workplace risk.

To enrol, learners must provide evidence of a valid or recently expired First Aid at Work certificate. We recommend completing the requalification course before the current certificate expires, although a short grace period may apply at the trainer’s discretion.

Overall, this First Aid at Work Requalification course supports ongoing compliance, strengthens first aid skills, and ensures staff remain ready to respond effectively in an emergency.
